Finished reading Neverwhere. Very good. Also, the version I got has a "Reading Group Guide" in the back, and while I found all of the actual questions to be pretty irrelevant and cut-and-dried, there was a mininterview with Gaiman that was pretty cool.

One of the books I read in my African Literature class was Maru, by Bessie Head--which was interesting, believe me. Head said she wrote it in "blinding flashes of insight"--so, if you go hunting for it, expect pseudo-SOC.
